Traveling Europe

The long awaited spring break video has finally arrived. If you didn't know I spent my spring break traveling with my best friend Sammie to three cities across Europe, London, Paris, and Copenhagen. These cities all have a place in my heart. Check out the video to see some highlights from the trip.

Where are your favorite places to travel? Let me know in the comments below.

My London Favs

London is one of my favorite places in the entire world. I appreciate the culture, food, fashion, architecture, accents (lol), etc. I feel like it's my home away from home. Maybe that's because I spent an entire month getting to know the city or maybe it's because it's somewhere entirely different than where I was born. Either way, I enjoy the city very much and hope to continue to explore it for the rest of my life.

In prep for my month in London, I did research, lots of it. I didn't want to miss out, so I had an itinerary of things I had to do, had to eat, etc. Although I didn't completely finish the list, I found my favorites rather quickly. When I returned in April, I was happy to relive my favorites once again.

So if you're headed to London and don't have a clue of what to do, what to eat, where to go, etc. Try out my list. I promise you won't be disappointed.

To put you in perspective real quick, I stayed in Shoreditch, a cool, trendy section of London, filled with street arts, street food, and the best street style.

To get around, I used the tube. It's a Londoners best friend, and your best friend if you want to take advantage of the short amount of time you have in London.

So let's get onto the list:

What to see:

Notting Hill: It's prettier than a picture.

Covent Garden: I love Covent Garden. It's a touristy area, but the shops and food finds are worth the wait. Make sure you try out a cider while you're there.

Kensington Palace: The gardens are pretty, I promise.

The London Eye and Big Ben: If you're a tourists, you just gotta go.

Where to eat:

Borough Market: (Or any market in particular) Markets offer the best street food, plus the prices are low so you can try many different options. (Including these Nutella Danish pancakes)

Pop Brixton: A cool place to hang out. Get some drinks and eat some food with good company.

Meat Liquor: Don't be turned away from the name. They have the best burgers in the business.

Molly Bakes: For milkshakes bigger than your head.

Friends of Ours: My favorite brunch spot. Did anyone say avocado toast?

Where to drink:

Brooklyn Coffee: Coffee galore.

The Book Club: Library/bar.

Queen of Hoxton: Rooftop bars are London's summer highlights.

Where to shop:

91 Brick Lane: Vintage thrills and unique street style that will inspire you for the rest of your trip.

Boxpark: Shopping and food. Does it get better than this?

Seven Dials: For a more elevated shopping experience.

And there we have it, although my list is small, it's worthwhile.

Let me know in the comments below your favorite London spots.
