Leather Jacket Obsession

I've come to the conclusion that leather jackets are my favorite article of clothing. They can transform a basic look into something chic and cool. Just think, if I weren't sporting this leather jacket, I would be wearing just a simple purple dress. As much as I love minimalism, I think the leather is what makes the look stand out.

Now that I've come clean about my leather jacket obsession lets move on to what else I'm wearing. Under the jacket is a comfy dress from my favorite store at the moment, Aritzia. They carry cool, effortless clothes that you'll never want to stop buying. I paired this look with leather booties and reflective sunnies.

What to Wear: Festival Vibes

My Look
Hat: Target // Crop top: American Eagle // Joggers: Aerie // Sandals: Target

Festival season is coming up and for all you concert goers that means festival fashion. Wearing high waisted shorts and crop tops never seems to get old in the summer. I will be putting together a lookbook featuring my favorite bohemian wear that will be coming out next month. However, here is a sneak peak.

Since Michigan's temps are ranging from 60s to 70s, pants are still acceptable. Plus these are from Aerie are extra cozy. I paired mine with this cute knit crop top from American Eagle. If you haven't noticed yet, crop tops are a festival favorite. You can see anyone from Kendall Jenner to Bella Thorne sporting one at Coachella. With my top, I wore a three-tiered necklace from Lucky Brand. This necklace has both gold and silver giving you endless options for your other details. I usually like to match all my metals, so this necklace gives me the option to mix and match without clashing. Adding more jewelry, I wore my gold Alex and Ani bracelets. I love how effortless these bracelets look. To top off my outfit, I wore a black floppy hat, aka another festival necessity, and chestnut sandals that resemble Birkenstocks. It's important to wear comfy shoes; after a long day your feet will be killing you if you aren't sensible. Although, it's not pictured in this ootd I recommend bringing a small backpack. You are going to want something to carry all your necessities, and this will do just that, plus your phone will be safe and sound.

Concert Favorites:

-MOPOP
-ALT J
-LANA DEL REY
-PURITY RING
-ELECTRIC FOREST

Meeting Bethany Mota

On Sunday, I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Bethany Mota. Bethany is a beauty guru in the Youtube community. It was pretty cool to meet her because she was one of the first people who inspired to put myself out there and make a blog. Anyways my friend Sam and I decided last minute, Saturday night, to go to the meet up. It ended up being a great decision. Although meet ups are rather lengthy, the wait is worth it. I had a fun time socializing with Sammie and taking to other girls who had the same interest as me. Overall, the lesson I learned from this day is to say yes. It okay to take risks and do things you wouldn't normally do. The outcome may surprise you.
