Formal: Sorority Girl Style.

WHAT TO WEAR TO FORMAL
Fall formal is just around the corner for all you sorority girls out there. It's the perfect excuse to splurge on a cute new dress or even borrow from the endless closets of your sisters. Since this was my first formal, I chose the first option and purchased a trendy low cut number from TopShop. What caught my attention was the snakeskin print. I'm usually a sucker for basics but I could not say no once I tried it on. I went for a smokey eye and nude lip that went perfectly with the ensemble.

Back to Class.

Although going back to class may not be everyone's favorite pass time. Take it with a grain of salt and remember, it is always the best excuse to go shopping. I've talked about closet essentials before; however, this guide showcases my favorite pieces to wear this fall, as well as awesome alternatives. In today's look, I'm wearing a basic white blazer. Outerwear is my favorite article of clothing. Jackets can take an outfit from a 0 to a 10 so don't forget their importance. Anyways, this classy blazer can be dressed up or down. It works for college presentations and even internship interviews. I wore mine with a crop top; however, T-shirts do the trick as well. You can never have enough, and they make great layering pieces for the chillier days. My college days consist of mostly jeans, but a loose culotte or jogger has been on my mind. Thankfully the weather is still beautiful, so wearing these lightweight pant options make so much sense. I was craving to dress up, so I threw on my favorite wedges. If you are more sensible than me, how about sneakers? I am obsessed with this trend right now, plus they are comfortable. For accessories, I wore my usual. This includes my Michael Kors purse, Jcrew sunnies, and Fossil watch. These accessories have found a home in my closet. Having go-to items such as these make dressing for classes that much easier. So when school shopping this year don't forget about outerwear, T-shirts, culottes, and your simple accessories. They can make a difference in your back to school wardrobe.

OOTD: Weekend Wanderlust

DAY ONE:
Dress: ASOS // Sandals: Steve Madden // Hat: Express

Wanderlust: A strong desire to travel.

Summer is about exploring, giving yourself a break from the classroom and would not be complete without a trip to Lake Michigan. Lazy days on the beach, endless shopping, delicious dinners and my personally favorite capturing it all on my camera. I spent a majority of my trip at the beach, however dinner was the exception. Here is a collection of OOTD dinner vacation style.

DAY TWO:
Romper: Gliks // Necklace: Topshop // Sandal: Target // Hat: Target

DAY THREE:
Shorts: Gliks // Top: Express // Sandal: Target // Purse: Kate Spade // Sunnies: Urban
